Landfill is being liquidated in Arsky district at the expense of "green" money
In the regions of Tatarstan, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of local budgets from environmental revenues within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.
Inspectors of the Northern Directorate, as part of a survey of the Arsky district, identified a large waste dump in the village of Kukche-Verezi. The landfill area was 3,500 sq. m.
Upon re-examination of the settlement, the inspectors found that the landfill had not been eliminated, and solid municipal waste had been buried by filling into a ravine.
The staff of the Northern Department sent a letter addressed to the head of the Arsky district. It was decided to eliminate the unauthorized landfill at the expense of funds coming to the budget from environmental payments.
