Today, Maxim Korolkov, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, together with Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, got acquainted with the progress of work on the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan

The reclamation project, implemented within the framework of the federal project "Water of Russia" of the national project "Environmental Well-being", includes large-scale work to eliminate accumulated environmental damage that poses a threat to the Volga River. Currently, 87 people work at the facility and 25 pieces of equipment are involved, including excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks and dredgers.

The main stages of the work include sheet piling (93% of the planned volume was completed), installation of the drainage system (80%). Geotube filling accounts for approximately 77% of the total volume planned to be uploaded by the end of the year.

As of today, the facility is 91.84% ready.
