The results of the summer season of the All-Russian Photo contest of the Federal Agency for Water Resources have been summed up. 421 photographers from 78 regions of Russia took part in the creative competition, presenting almost 2.5 thousand works to the jury.
The geography of the competition is impressive in its scale – from the Kaliningrad Region to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Among the participants are residents of new regions of Russia, as well as photographers who previously participated in the winter season of the competition.
The participants had a creative task to capture the diversity and unique beauty of our country's water bodies. The competition was held in two categories: "Water bodies in infrastructure" and "Water bodies in nature". The photographers captured both the majestic landscapes of the wild and the harmonious combination of water bodies with urban landscapes. The most popular filming locations were Lake Baikal and the Volga River.

Special Prize: Yana Mordvintseva (Moscow) – for photographs of the Sylva River and White Lake
Winners in the nomination "Water bodies in nature":
Special prize: Egor Staver (Lomonosov, St. Petersburg) – for shots of Lake Lyappyarvi and the Severnaya Dvina River
The winners' works will be added to the Rosvodresursy photo bank and will be presented on the Agency's official website and social networks, and the authors will receive memorable prizes.
The second All-Russian photo contest "Water Resources of Russia" is held in support of the national project "Ecological well-being". Its main goal is to draw public attention to the issues of careful use of Russia's water resources and to support talented photographers who reflect the beauty and importance of our country's water bodies in their work.
It should be recalled that in the first, winter, season of the competition, more than 1,400 photographs were submitted, and 7 photographers became the winners.
