Today, at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, spoke about the implementation of national projects, emphasizing the importance of uniform and timely disbursement of allocated funds. "I would like to mention separately the disbursement of funds within the framework of national projects, which is 36.5% so far. It is necessary to spend funds evenly throughout the year, especially within the framework of federal funds," said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Let us recall that in 2025, new national projects were launched in Russia, which relate to almost all areas. 42.9 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of national projects in Tatarstan this year, of which 23.4 billion are federal funds.
One of them is the national project "Environmental well–being". As part of this national project, the second stage of work on clearing the Melekeska River in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny has started. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has signed a state contract with LLC Yadran-Stroy to carry out work on clearing the 2.6 km long riverbed in 2025-2027. The total cost of the work will be 320 million rubles.
The project provides for the removal of bottom sediments by a hydromechanical method using modern equipment. Two years ago, the first stage of environmental rehabilitation of the Melekeska River was successfully implemented in Naberezhnye Chelny at the expense of federal funds, as a result of which 1.5 km of the riverbed was cleaned. Thanks to the support of Rosvodresursy, the environmental living conditions for more than 500 thousand residents of the city have been improved.
Also in 2025, within the framework of the federal project "Water of Russia", it is expected to complete work on the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan, which began in 2021. In addition, the national project "Ecological well-being" has previously agreed to include work on clearing and eco-rehabilitation of the Knox River and its tributaries along a length of 23.2 km. The estimated amount is 718.9 million rubles, the work is scheduled for 2028-2030, however, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan is considering the possibility of an earlier start of the project.
For reference: The Noksa River is a left tributary of the Kazanka River, the mouth of the river is located at a distance of 12 km from the Volga River and is completely located within the administrative borders of the Republic of Tatarstan, flows through the city of Kazan. The aim of the project is to restore the ecological condition of the Noksa River by reducing wastewater pollution, clearing the water body and eliminating accumulated damage. As a result of the above-mentioned works, the ecological living conditions of more than 1.3 million people will be improved.
