As part of the Recycling School: Electronics program, 17 budget organizations in Tatarstan handed over 8 tons of scrap metal in support of the national Environmental Well-being project. The gathering took place in Naberezhnye Chelny, Agryzsky and Mendeleevsky districts. All the collected machinery will be transferred for recycling to a specialized ecological combine.

Since the beginning of the School of Recycling: Electronics, Tatarstan has sent 63.4 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment for recycling this year. 114 organizations from 21 districts of the Republic have submitted such a number.

Due to the beginning of the holiday season in educational institutions, the Fund for Environmental Management is switching to summer holidays from July 14 to August 31. During this period, the program "School of Recycling: Electronics" is planned to be updated. The procedure and conditions for further operation of the program will be announced additionally.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of environmental programs, in particular on the implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program. The main goal of the program is to provide residents with the opportunity to recycle expired equipment in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner. Recycling is carried out at the own facilities of the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources for the recycling of electronic and electrical equipment, as well as at partner enterprises.
