An unauthorized landfill in the village of Verkhneye Alkeevo, Alkeevsky district, has been eliminated
During a joint visit by inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration with road safety specialists, the fact of dumping production and consumption waste was established near the highway. The unauthorized landfill consisted of waste containing uncontaminated ferrous metals (including cast iron and steel dust), placed on an area of 30 square meters with a total weight of 800 kg.
Upon the fact of the revealed violation, inspectors of the Volzhsko-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology issued a warning to the Executive Committee of the Nizhnealkeevsky rural settlement of the Alkeevsky municipal district about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation with a requirement to eliminate the identified violation.
As a result of the measures taken, the landfill was completely eliminated. The Ministry continues systematic work to identify and eliminate unauthorized landfills in the region within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being" and in accordance with the decrees of the President of the Russian Federation aimed at improving the environmental situation.
