The Republican Field Olympiad of young geologists will be held in Tatarstan
The Republican Field Olympiad of Young Geologists in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being" will be held in Almetyevsk at the Solnechny camp from July 10 to 16. This year, 296 schoolchildren will take part in the Olympiad, including 35 teams from Tatarstan.
In addition to testing their theoretical training, the children will have to show practical skills: go through a special geological route, conduct dressing studies, set up a tent camp, build a fire and provide first aid.
Following the results of the Olympiad, two Tatarstan national teams will be formed to participate in the All-Russian Open Field Olympiad for Young Geologists, which will be held in the Perm Region from July 24 to August 4.
The field Olympiad of young geologists has been held in Tatarstan since 2014. The main tasks are the development of creative abilities of schoolchildren, the formation of professional skills in the field of geology, as well as the popularization of the activities of young geological associations.
