Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the Pestrechinsky district examined the GTS near the village of Lenino-Kukushkino
On behalf of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic is conducting a planned inventory of emergency hydraulic structures in the districts. Based on the results of the inventory, the issue of including GTS repair works in the federal project "Protection from floods and other negative impacts of waters and ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures" is being considered, within the framework of which a significant number of measures have already been implemented in support of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Specialists of the Department for the Implementation of state programs and Projects of the Department of Economics and Project Activities of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Executive Committee of the Pestrechinsky district, conducted an inspection of a hydraulic structure near the village of Lenino-Kukushkino.
As a result of the inspection, the need for major repairs of the hydraulic structure, built in 1980, was established. The volume of the pond where the GTS is located is 336 thousand cubic meters. In the event of an accident, the danger of flooding will arise for the underlying area — the village of Pestretsy.
It should be recalled that in the villages of Buzaevo and Bolshye Yaki of the Zelenodolsk district, work has already been completed on the overhaul of the GTS on ponds located within the boundaries of these settlements. The project was implemented thanks to the financing of Rosvodresursy and the support of the Head RT. Earthen dams, spillway and intake structures have been repaired. The work allowed 248 houses, a kindergarten and infrastructure facilities to be protected from flooding, preventing damage of 119.1 million rubles.
GTS security issues are under special control of the Head of RT. Over the 7 years from 2018 to 2024, 71 hydraulic structures were overhauled for a total of 1,260.7 million rubles, including 41 GTS with the support of Rosvodresursy for more than 437 million rubles and co-financing from the republican budget for 300.5 million rubles. In addition, by the decision of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, 30 GTS worth 523.2 million rubles were overhauled at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan.
