The International Ecological Festival "Yashel Adym" – "Green Step" has started today
The grand opening of the International Student Environmental Festival "Yashel Adym" – "Green Step", which takes place in support of the national project "Environmental Well-being", took place today in Almetyevsk on the campus of the University of Higher School of Petroleum. The festival is attended by 120 students from the regions of Russia and foreign countries.
Today's opening was the start for a discussion of significant issues of our time: how to form an ecological culture, what practical solutions can improve the environment, and what it means to be an environmentally responsible person in the 21st century.
Damir Valiullin, Head of the Information Systems and Environmental Education Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke at the plenary session. He told the participants about the work of the Ministry and the competitions held by the department.
Over the course of four days, students will work in five key areas:
🟢 EnergoBoom — about the energy of the future
🟢 EcoAir – a clean look at clean air
🟢 EcoWave — protection of water, from the spring to the river
🟢 EcoFauna — conservation of biodiversity
🟢 EcoSoul — an eco-friendly approach to a person
The Yashel Adym festival is organized by Almetyevsk State Technological University Higher School of Petroleum in cooperation with the regional public environmental organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatneft Charitable Foundation.
