Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin discussed issues of cooperation with Maxim Pogodin, Director General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Federal Environmental Operator
The working meeting was attended by the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.
During the conversation held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects in the field of industrial waste management and the elimination of accumulated environmental damage in order to reduce the impact of industry on the environment.
Tatarstan and the Federal Environmental Operator have had a positive experience of cooperation since 2020. At that time, an agreement was signed on cooperation in terms of creating conditions for the safe management of waste of hazard classes I and II and the elimination of the most dangerous objects of accumulated environmental damage.
Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Federal Environmental Operator" is a specialized organization dealing with waste of various types and hazard classes throughout the country. It is a federal expert on waste management of hazard classes I and II. It is part of the Rosatom State Corporation.
