Unauthorized landfills were identified by inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan

At the request of residents through the GIS "People's Control" system, inspectors from the Volga-Kama directorate went to inspect the territories.

In the village of Shama, Alekseevsky district, unauthorized waste storage was discovered on Kolkhoznaya Street on a total area of 47 square meters.

A landfill was also discovered on the outskirts of the village of Sloboda Yekaterininskaya in the Novosheshminsky district. The total area of the contaminated site was 28 sq. m.

Environmentalists have issued warnings to the Executive Committees of rural settlements where settlements are located about the need to comply with the requirements and eliminate violations.
