The environmental assessment of the project on the approval of the limit of extraction of hunting resources in the Republic of Tatarstan has been completed

The Expert Commission of the state environmental expertise of the draft Decree of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan analyzed the materials and noted their compliance with environmental protection requirements. The customer of the state environmental assessment is the RT State Committee for Biological Resources.

Yuri Gorshkov, head of the expert commission, Doctor of Biological Sciences, representative of the Volga-Kama State Nature Reserve, and Alexander Bespalov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology and General Biology at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of Kazan Federal University, participated as experts. Experts from the Ministry were employees of the Department for the evaluation of planned activities Ilnaz Fatkhullin and Yazil Gimaletdinova.

Limits and quotas for the extraction of hunting resources (moose, Siberian roe deer, red deer, spotted deer, lynx, badger) are approved annually for the use of hunting resources without harming the reproduction of populations. 

The level of environmental impact during the removal of animals in the following quantities: moose – 1023 individuals, Siberian roe deer – 929 individuals, red deer – 9 individuals, spotted deer – 12 individuals, lynx – 6 individuals, badger - 210 individuals is acceptable.
