Kazan awarded the winners of the republican contest “Eco-spring 2025” held in support of the national project “Ecological Wellbeing”
Kindergartens, schools, families, eco-unions and journalists today received their awards for their contribution to ecology. The ceremony was held as part of the “Summer in Tatarstan” program in the Yelmai Children's Park, which was created with the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In addition to taking part in the awarding ceremony, participants went on ecological quests, drew badges and burned wood at master classes.
The winners were greeted by Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that this year the contest is held for the tenth time:
“Today we summarize the results of our traditional contest ”Eco-spring. Words of immense gratitude to everyone who took an active part. 1 089 applications - it is a huge work, first of all parents and teachers. I bow to you for your contribution, for bringing up true patriots of our country. What you are doing today is our future".
The event was also attended by Azat Khamayev, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, chairman of the State Council Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy, Azat Ziganshin, deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan, head of the Russian Ecological Society, Almaz Valiakhmetov, Tatar inter-district environmental prosecutor, Maxim Artamonov, Kazan inter-district environmental prosecutor.
On May 31, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin already awarded the best municipalities. Vysokogorsky District became the winner among districts with the center in rural settlements, Kukmorsky District took the first place among districts with the center in cities. Kazan became the best city among urban districts.
The special significance of such initiatives was also noted by the participants of the jubilee “Eco-spring”.
"We took part in the competition from the first week: we sorted waste, went out on clean-up days and collected garbage. Useful habits were instilled in our children as well. Ecology is an integral part of our lives and we did what we had to do," say the Skuzlov family, winners of the Eco Family nomination.
The winners of the republican contest “Eco-spring 2025” in the nomination “Eco-family” were:
3rd place - Stepanov family, Mendeleevsky district;
2nd place - Bykovskiy family, Kazan; 1st place - Skuzlov family, Mendeleevsky district. Kazan;
1st place - Skuzlov family, Kazan. Kazan.
In the nomination “Eco Helper” in the category up to 18 years old:
3rd place - Azalia Khannanova, Sarmanovsky district;
2nd place - Yana Skuzlova, Kazan;
1st place - Arseniy Smirnov, Kazan.
Category “Eco-helper” 18 years and older:
3rd place - Zulfiya Aminova, Yutazinsky district;
2nd place - Nikita Shekhovtsev, Almetyevsky district;
1st place - Oksana Bukina, Kazan.
In the nomination “Eco-union”:
3rd place - MBU “Center of youth (student) formations for the protection of public order ”Forpost“ Buinsky district;
2nd place - eco-union ”ECO-generation“ Nurlatsky district;
1st place - environmental detachment ‘Ecodoblest’ association ”Ecokaleidoscope" Muslyumovskaya gymnasium.
In the nomination “Eco-team” in the category “Junior group (kindergartens)” the winners were:
3rd place - Karaduvansky kindergarten of combined kind of Baltasinsky district;
2nd place - Norminsky kindergarten of combined kind ‘Turgai’ of Baltasinsky district;
1st place - Kindergarten No. 7 “Kolokolchik” of Bavlinsky district.
In the nomination “Eco-team”, senior category (schools):
3rd place - Menzelinskaya school №3;
2nd place -Aksubaevskaya school №2;
1st place - Baltasinskaya secondary comprehensive school.
Journalists who took an active part in covering the sanitary-ecological bi-monthly were also awarded within the framework of the contest.
In the category of Internet publications the winners were:
3rd place - Gulgena Gilmanova, newspaper “Vatanim Tatarstan”;
2nd place - Lyudmila Gubaeva, Internet newspaper “Real Time”.
1st place - Natalia Rybakova, “Tatar-Inform” news agency.
In the category "Television Media":
3rd place - Lucia Sharafieva, Radio "Bulgar" and Rezeda Ginyaeva, LLC "Nur Radio";
2nd place - Elabuga News Service, TV channel "Elabuga 24";
1st place - Inna Danilova, branch of VGTRK GTRK "Tatarstan".
