Inspectors of the Southeastern Department have identified three unauthorized landfills
Environmentalists have discovered illegal waste discharges in the Nurlatsky and Leninogorsk districts.
As part of a survey of the environmental condition of roadside lanes, inspectors together with specialists from GBU "Road Safety" discovered a landfill in Nurlat on Shosseynaya Street. The total area of contamination was 72 sq.m. A warning was sent to the Executive Committee of the Nurlatsky district upon violation of environmental legislation.
The second dump was identified by inspectors of the South-Eastern Department in Timerlek rural settlement. Construction and household debris was found on an area of 650 sq.m. A warning was also sent to the Executive Committee of the Nurlat district.
The third violation, with an area of 27 square meters, was detected in the village of Staraya Pismyanka. A warning was sent to the Executive Committee of the Leninogorsk district about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and eliminating landfills.
