This weekend, an environmental campaign was held on Lake Komsomolskoye, with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event has been held annually for more than ten years and has become a good tradition among activists and local residents.

Volunteers and caring residents actively participated in cleaning the shores of the lake. According to the results of the clean-up, about 42 bags of garbage were collected. 90 activists took part, including young naturalists from Tatarstan, who proved themselves to be true defenders of nature.

Special attention was drawn to the "Geography Lesson", an initiative created specifically for those who are passionate about studying the country's natural and cultural heritage. Under the leadership of the Underwater Research Group of the Russian Geographical Society named after A. A. Leonov participants were able to assemble a puzzle map of Russia and Tatarstan, master the basics of diving and the technique of knitting sea knots, and get acquainted with the flora and fauna of their native republic.

The eco-campaign also hosted a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the "Phenological Changes in Nature" competition. The children received well-deserved prizes and awards for their colorful drawings.

Such campaigns foster an ecological culture among the younger generation, which contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
