The Ministry of Ecology's automatic air purity monitoring stations have performed more than 1.5 million measurements.
From January 1 to May 30, 2025, 17 automatic air pollution control stations performed more than 1.5 million operations. More than 500 thousand measurements were performed, including by five AAPCSs in Kazan.
From May 1 to May 30, 40 cases of exceeding the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants in the atmospheric air were recorded at AAPCS:
AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirov, 3 ave.) hydrogen sulfide exceedances with a maximum multiple of 2.29 MPC and ammonia exceedances with a maximum multiple of 1.74 MPC were recorded.
ASKZA-15 (Nizhnekamsk, 36th mkr, Yuzhnaya St.), 3, 1 excess of the permissible content of ethylene oxide in atmospheric air with a maximum multiplicity of 1.33 MPCm was recorded.
According to the facts of the recorded exceedances, the Ministry's inspectors conducted field visits to carry out additional measurements of air samples using a mobile environmental laboratory.
No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants for the current month was recorded at the other AAPCSs.
