Limits of extraction of hunting resources discussed at a meeting in the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the expert commission of the state environmental assessment, where they discussed the limit on the extraction of hunting resources in Tatarstan from August 1, 2025 to August 1, 2026.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volga-Kama State Natural Biosphere Reserve, the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of the KFU and the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources. The meeting was also joined by employees of the Executive Committees of the districts of the Republic of Tatarstan via video conference.
The experts got acquainted with the presented materials, discussed a number of issues related to the methodology of accounting for the number and determination of migration trails of animals. Information on the results of the review of the project materials will be posted on the Ministry's website (https://eco.tatarstan.ru/rezultati-gosudarstvennoy-ekologicheskoy.htm ) after completion of the state environmental assessment.
The limits and quotas for the extraction of hunting resources (elk, Siberian roe deer, red deer, spotted deer, lynx, badger) are approved annually, which allows the use of hunting resources without harming the reproduction of populations.
