The violator compensated the damage caused to the soil in the amount of 300 thousand rubles

During a helicopter flight, environmentalists revealed unauthorized waste disposal on a plot of land in the Sovetsky district of Kazan.

Inspectors from the Central Administration went to the site and found a landfill of construction waste.

The total area of the violation was 468 sq.m., the volume was 234 cubic meters. The inspectors calculated the damage caused to the soil in the amount of 297 thousand rubles. The violator voluntarily refused to compensate for the damage.

The Ministry appealed to the Sovetsky District Court of Kazan. The court supported the environmentalists' position and ordered the violator to pay for the damage.
