8 youth environmental projects will be implemented this year in Tatarstan
Within the framework of the IX Republican EcoWave Forum of the organization "It will be clean", held in Kazan in May, the competition of socially significant projects "About ecology to each other" has ended. Thanks to the competition, environmental education and environmental protection events for children and youth will be organized in 6 districts of the republic and in Kazan in support of the goals of the national project "Environmental Well-being".
The final of the competition was held at the forum. The winners received grants totaling 500,000 rubles from the Russian Ecological Society. The head of the Tatarstan branch of the society, Azat Ziganshin, spoke to the children and noted that the organization is interested in active youth, because one of the main goals of the society is environmental education.
According to the results of the final, the following projects will be implemented in Tatarstan in 2025 with the support of the Russian Ecological Society:
- The project "Eco-trade for good" (Ecological association "Fresh wind", Tukayevsky district)
The project provides for a series of environmental events in the autumn period for children and parents of the Solnyshko rehabilitation center, as well as for interested residents of the village of Betki in the Tukayevsky district. Activists of the eco-association "Fresh Wind" will carry out actions on cleaning territories, intellectual games, quests and quizzes.
- The project "Life in the Eco style" (Environmental group "Vityazi", Zelenodolsk district)
The project is aimed at developing an ecological culture among the pupils of the Raifa SUVA of the Zelenodolsk district. The project will include a 10-day environmental education shift, which includes environmental classes, quest games, creative contests, workshops, clean-up campaigns, tree planting and collection of recycled materials.
- The EcoShift project (EcoDesant Environmental Group, Drozhzhanovsky district)
The EcoShift project is aimed at developing an ecological culture among children and adolescents of the Drozhzhanovsky district. As part of the autumn shift, a series of environmental events is planned at DOL Chaika: environmental games, workshops, seminars and environmental campaigns. The project also plans to identify leaders with whom new environmental associations will be formed in schools in the Drozhzhanovsky district in the future.
- Student ecological and educational project "Save. Create. Construct." (KAVM Environmental movement "Rysss'", Kazan)
The project provides for an interactive clean-up day for cleaning the coastal areas of the Kazanka River. Further, master classes in yoga and meditation, plein-airs in picturesque areas, ecological picnics, as well as outdoor exchange events are planned on the cleared territory.
- "Clean air is our guide" (Ecoclass Environmental Group, Nurlatsky district)
The project is to create an ecological corner with green spaces near the spring of the village of Yegorkino. Each tree will be dedicated to the hero of the Great Patriotic War, as well as to the participants of the special military operation in the village of Yegorkino and will be planted by family members. This territory will become a venue for environmental events.
- Upcycling or a second life for things Ecological Association "Generation Eco", Yutazinsky district)
The project aims to collect old clothes and textiles by schoolchildren to create unique accessories, jewelry and decorative elements. As part of the project, it is planned to prepare material (batting, wiping cloth, sound insulation, stuffing material) for the needs of participants in a special military operation.
- Socio-ecological project "Change" (Ecoactivy Center for Environmental Associations, Naberezhnye Chelny)
The project "Change" is aimed at promoting a culture of reasonable consumption and a fashion for environmental friendliness. As part of the project, in the autumn period, the team will hold events for the exchange of things, a charity event "Kind Heart" to collect things for those in need, a campaign to recycle old clothes "Fashion without waste", as well as shooting social environmental videos for the youth of Naberezhnye Chelny.
- School Winter Garden (Ecoclass School Environmental Group, Drozhzhanovsky district)
As part of the project, during the summer and autumn period, it is planned to create and maintain a school winter garden on the basis of the Nizhnechekur school of the Drozhzhanovsky district. During the implementation of the project, the team plans to plant plants, form a portfolio of these plants, open an exposition of cacti, conduct guided tours with informative conversations on plants, as well as conduct a design and research work "Living conditions of an ecological group of plants in a winter garden" among 9th grade students.
The ECO-wave forum is organized by the Youth Environmental Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society.
