In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, we continue to remember the names of the heroes. Daniyar Mustafin, the son of Laysan Mustafina, legal adviser to the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, talks about his great-grandfather today.
The boy's great-grandfather, Bari Valievich Valiev, was born in 1924 in the village of Mukmin-Karatai in the Leninogorsk district of the TASSR. In 1941, when he was 17 years old, he went to the front.
In 1945, he reached Berlin and there met the long-awaited Victory!
The soldier returned home to Leninogorsk only in 1950. After the war, he devoted his whole life to working in the oil industry. He was at the origin of the development of oil production in Tatarstan. Today, his great-grandson, Daniyar, is reading a poem in memory of the same soldiers as his great-grandfather!
