According to the results of the residents' appeal, the Ministry's inspectors identified unauthorized landfills in Kazan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received information about several illegal waste storage sites in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan. Inspectors from the Central Department went to inspect the territories of the Savinovo residential area and Fatykh Amirkhan Street.
Upon first request, an unauthorized landfill of car tires and household garbage was found on the territory of the residential area on a total area of 1080 square meters, the volume of waste is 235 cubic meters.
According to the second appeal, a landfill of construction debris, soil, and waste from dismantling buildings was found. The total area was 1,110 sq. m., the volume was 1,443 cubic meters.
A warning was sent to the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of the Executive Committee of Kazan about the inadmissibility of violations and the need to eliminate landfills.
