Today, on the day of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Engie Galimullina, the sister of our senior specialist at the Central Department, Alina Gabdrakhmanova, tells a poem in memory of her great-grandfather.

Salikh Shaykhutdinovich Shaykhutdinov was born on December 12, 1912 in the village of Nuriner, Baltasinsky district. He was drafted into the war in 1941 as a signalman when he was 28 years old. He participated in the Battle for Moscow and liberated Belarus.

For his bravery, valour and bravery, Salih Shaykhutdinov was awarded the medal "For Bravery" and the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. He went through the whole war and returned home alive. Salikh Shaykhutdinov died in 1992.

Today, on this important day for our country, each of us feels proud of our family, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Their courage, steadfastness and heroism gave us a peaceful sky above our heads. Thank you for the Victory! We remember! We are proud!
