Illegal waste disposal has been suppressed in the Mamadyshsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Employees of the Prikamsky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of unauthorized dumping of waste on a land plot in the village of Taveli in the Tavelsky rural settlement of the Mamadyshsky municipal district. The area of contamination was 31.7 sq.m., the volume of waste was 41.21 cubic meters. In addition, the removal and relocation of a fertile soil layer on an area of 66.45 square meters was established, which is also a violation of environmental legislation.
In connection with the violations identified, the Kama TU MEPR of the Republic of Tatarstan sent a warning to the executive committee of the Mamadyshsky municipal district about the need to eliminate them. Due to ignoring the warning, the Ministry appealed to the Mamadyshsky District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court granted the claim of the Ministry of Ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, obliging the defendant to liquidate the unauthorized landfill.
