Since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic air pollution control stations have performed more than 1,164 thousand measurements. Five stations located in Kazan performed more than 413 thousand measurements.
In April, 24 excess concentrations were recorded in the republic: 20 for hydrogen sulfide and 4 for sulfur dioxide.
Thus, in the northern part of Kazan, the AAPCS recorded 18 excess permissible concentrations of hydrogen sulfide with a maximum multiplicity of 2.06 MPC. In Nizhnekamsk, 2 exceedances in hydrogen sulfide with a maximum multiplicity of 4.71 MPC and 4 exceedances in sulfur dioxide with a maximum multiplicity of 1.96 MPC were recorded.
Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology carried out visits on the facts of recording of excess and incoming appeals from residents. Atmospheric air samples were taken with the help of a mobile environmental laboratory. According to the research results, an excess of hydrogen sulfide was recorded in Kazan. No excess was detected in Nizhnekamsk.
In order to determine the contribution of sources to the generated concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide, calculations of dispersion under routine operating modes of emission sources were organized using the consolidated database of emission parameters in Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. The calculation results showed that under fixed meteorological conditions, the sources of enterprises subject to state federal environmental control (supervision) make the greatest contribution to the concentration of pollutants. With this in mind, the information was sent to the Volga-Kama Interregional Federal Office of Rosprirodnadzor and the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan.
No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants for the current month was recorded at the other AAPCSs.
Please note that the measurements on the AAPCS for the month of March were given taking into account the measurements of meteorological parameters.
At the same time, we would like to inform you that the measurement data of the AAPCS on the Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan may be missing due to the diagnosis and repair of ecological and analytical equipment.
