"We remember your names..."
Next week, the whole country will celebrate one of the most important holidays - Victory Day.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan continues the heading "We remember your names ...", dedicated to the Year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory. The descendants of the heroes tell poems in memory of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers who fought for a peaceful sky in the Great Patriotic War.
Today, Kamilla Gimaeva tells about her family history. Her grandfather, Sakhap Mingaliev, was born in 1915 in the village of Starye Chelny in the Alkeevsky district of the TASSR. He went to the front in 1941 as a 26-year-old guy. He later went missing, leaving behind his wife and two daughters. The most tragic thing in this story is the fate of the women who saw off their loved ones on their last journey... In memory of the family, there was only a photo received from the front.
"The peaceful sky above my head and the bright sun are all thanks to my grandfather, who did not return from the war," says Kamilla.
