150,000 residents of Tatarstan became participants of the sanitary and ecological two-month event
Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology, reported on the progress of the sanitary and ecological two-month period in Tatarstan today to Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic.
He noted that 147 thousand people have already joined the cleanliness marathon, which started in Tatarstan on April 1 in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". These are residents, businesses and organizations, and environmental agencies.
Clean-up days are continuing in all municipalities. Since the beginning of the two-month period, about 62 thousand cubic meters of municipal solid waste have been removed to landfills, about 4 thousand units of special equipment have been involved, 74,5 thousand trees and shrubs have been planted.
During the two-month period, all supervisory authorities identified 1,813 violations, of which 859 were landfills (last year, 1,500 violations were detected during the same period, 656 of them landfills). 606 protocols were drawn up, administrative fines were imposed in the amount of more than 300 thousand rubles (in 2024, 498 protocols, in the amount of 688.5 thousand).
The nature of the violations does not change – these are landfills of construction, agricultural and industrial waste, cluttering of adjacent territories.
"In April, 859 unauthorized waste disposal sites were identified, and only 153 were eliminated! In some areas, work on the identification and elimination of landfills is not actually underway," said Alexander Shadrikov. "Since the beginning of the year, we have received 1,823 requests. Since April 1, the Republican Public Environmental Reception has received 873 applications, of which 531 are in the landfill category. On the slide, you can see the municipal areas with the highest number of complaints." The Head of Tatarstan appealed to the heads of districts where there are a large number of complaints from the population and advised to strengthen work within the framework of the sanitary two-month period.
The Minister of Ecology also reported on the results of the two-month air raids in the Republic and on joint work with Russian Railways and GBU BDD to identify violations. So, on April 3 and 16, two air raids took place, the territory of 19 districts of the republic and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny were surveyed.
A total of 424 violations were detected from the air. These are unauthorized waste storage sites, violations of water and land laws. (334 NPOs, 68 violations of water legislation, 22 land violations).
The largest number of violations was detected in Almetyevsk, Chistopolsky and Bugulminsky districts.
Inspections of roadside lanes are continuing with GBU "Road Safety". 16 visits were conducted, 56 facts of cluttering were revealed. The trips will continue in May.
111 violations were revealed during the raids with Russian Railways.
The contracting organizations of the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic have also actively joined in restoring order.
More than 4 thousand cubic meters of waste were collected from the roadside lanes of public roads of regional and federal significance, 1.5 thousand people and 170 units of special equipment were involved.
Alexander Shadrikov cited the Pestrechinsky and Laishevsky districts as an example of rapid response. At the end of his report, he addressed the heads of the Executive Committees and reminded them that the May holidays had arrived. "At the end of my report, I would like to draw attention to the upcoming summer cottage season. Traditionally, during this period, we receive a large number of complaints about the lack of places to store waste.
It is necessary to provide for the installation of additional containers and carry out preventive work with the residents and the chairmen of the farming co-op."
The Minister of Ecology invited everyone to the Central Republican Clean-up day, which is taking place today in all regions of the republic. The central site will be a birch grove in the village of Mirny.
