During the two-month sanitary cleaning of the territories, specialists from the Volga-Kama department identified a huge landfill in the Chistopolsky district.
During the monitoring of the territory of the city of Chistopol, unauthorized storage of industrial and consumer waste was discovered on H. Taktash Street. The contaminated area was 4,610 square meters, and the volume of accumulated waste was 1,844 cubic meters. The composition of waste includes unsorted household waste (including bulky waste) and waste from construction and repair work.
Inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan issued a warning to the Chistopol City Executive Committee about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation. The city administration is obliged to eliminate the detected violations within 60 days.
