Very soon, the whole country will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On the eve of this event, we continue the column "We remember your names...". Today, in honor of the hero of his family, the great-grandfather of Mikhail Ilyich Paredchin, his grandson Pavel Yuryev is reading a poem.
"My great-grandfather Mikhail Ilyich was born in 1910 in the Krasnodar Territory. During the war, he fought in the 41st Guards mortar Regiment on the famous Katyusha.
Great-grandfather accomplished a real feat: under mortar fire, he saved 15 soldiers and officers, provided them with medical care and helped send them to the hospital. He received the award "For bravery"! And even after the war, he helped: he worked in his native village as a veterinarian. My great–grandfather is a real hero!", says Pavel.
Eternal glory to the heroes! Eternal glory!
