Since April 1, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, which takes place in support of the national project "Ecological well-being", the Ministry of Ecology and other supervisory authorities have identified 551 violations of environmental legislation, 268 of which relate to unauthorized waste disposal.
The Ministry, together with GBU "Road Safety", continues work on monitoring the sanitary and ecological condition of roadside lanes. Two inspections have already been carried out in 8 districts of Tatarstan (Aznakaevsky, Baltasinsky, Alekseevsky, Tukayevsky, Yelabuga, Cheremshansky, Vysokogorsky and Leninogorsk districts), 31 violations have been detected. Commission detours of the right-of-way lanes of the Gorky and Kuibyshev railways have also been organized. Four landfills have been discovered on the Tikhonovo-Bugulma route.
During the monitoring of Tatarstan from the air, 150 violations were detected. The Pestrechinsky, Mamadyshsky, Yelabuga, Mendeleevsky, Menzelinsky, Zainsky, Nizhnekamsk, Rybno-Slobodsky districts and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny were surveyed.
Enterprises of the republic's transport complex have collected 1.8 thousand cubic meters of solid waste from the right-of-way lanes. More than 800 people and 125 units of special equipment are involved. Municipalities have removed more than 16 thousand cubic meters of solid household waste, more than 63 thousand people and 1.5 thousand pieces of equipment have been involved in cleaning the territories.
Information about the revealed violations is also received from residents of the republic. Since April 1, the public reception has received 213 complaints (116 in terms of waste, 22 for water pollution, 35 for air pollution, and 40 for others). A total of 1,259 applications have been received since the beginning of the year.
