15.5 tons of scrap metal were collected in Tatarstan in March as part of the project "School of recycling: Electronics"
In 2025, the implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program continues in the region in support of the national project "Environmental Well-being". In March, the program collected and disposed of 15.5 tons of electronic and electrical equipment waste from 37 budget organizations from 8 districts of the republic: Alekseevsky, Apastovsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Yelabuga, Kaibitsky, Nizhnekamsk and Chistopolsky. In March, 20 more budget organizations joined the program.
Since the beginning of the year, waste from electronic and electrical equipment weighing more than 40 tons has been exported from 18 municipalities of the republic within the framework of the program.
The federal program provides an opportunity for residents to transfer expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner. To participate, you must register on the Foundation's website. www.eko-fond.ru in the project "Recycling School: electronics". Suitable for disposal:
• computer and office equipment
• household appliances
• power tools
• machine tools
• Scientific and medical technology
• Phones and personal gadgets
• Spare parts and accessories.
Batteries; equipment marked with a radiation mark; lamps are not accepted. As part of the program, the Fund conducts a free-of-charge examination of the technical condition of equipment (including medical equipment) with the issuance of certificates for the write-off of equipment.
