Environmentalists have identified 4 unauthorized landfills in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk district
As part of the two-month cleanliness campaign, which is underway in the Republic on behalf of the Head of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov, inspectors from the Zakamsky Department identified four unauthorized landfills. Landfills have been identified both in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk region.
The first landfill was discovered at 50B Gagarin St. on an area of 14 sq. m. The rest are outside the city of Nizhnekamsk. In the Afanasovskoye rural settlement, waste was dumped on an area of 80 square meters. In the village of Bolshoe Afanasovo, in the water protection zone of the Subai river, a landfill with an area of 25 km was recorded. The fourth landfill, with an area of 528 km., was discovered near Industrialnaya street within Nizhnekamsk.
Warnings about violations of environmental legislation and the need to eliminate violations will be sent to the Executive Committee of the city and the locality where the landfills were discovered.
