Almost 1.5 million measurements have been carried out since the beginning of the year by 17 automatic air pollution control stations of the Ministry of Ecology, more than 1.489 million measurements have been carried out, including more than 481 thousand measurements carried out by five AAPCS in Kazan.
From March 1 to March 28, AAPCS recorded single exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants in the atmospheric air in Nizhnekamsk for sulfur dioxide with a maximum multiple of 3.25 MPC and in Kaleikino village of Almetyevsk district for hydrogen sulfide with a maximum multiple of 3.4 MPC.
The Ministry's inspectors conducted air sampling visits with the help of a mobile environmental laboratory in Nizhnekamsk and Kaleikino village based on the facts of the recorded exceedances. No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants was detected during the operation of the mobile laboratory.
No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants for the current month was recorded at the other AAPCSs.
