The Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed a violation of the current environmental legislation during the monitoring of the Tukayevsky district.
In the Knyazevsky rural settlement, the conditions for ensuring free access of residents to a public water body and the preservation of its 20-meter coastal strip for movement are not respected. The owner of the land plot installed a metal fence to the water's edge, thereby limiting access to the shoreline.
The inspectors of the Kama Department sent a warning to the legal entity. Based on the issued warning, a repeated field survey of the specified territory was conducted. During the survey, it was found that the demands of the Ministry of Ecology staff were ignored, and therefore the Ministry appealed to the Tukayevsky District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan with a statement of claim. The court upheld the environmentalists' demands and ordered the violator to comply with them.
