Ecology since childhood: a meeting dedicated to environmental education was held in the village of Tyulyachi
As part of the Clean Country party project, a meeting on environmental education was held in the village of Tyulyachi. Teachers and educators discussed effective methods of forming an ecological culture among the younger generation.
Olga Artemyeva, Head of the Department of Environmental Education and Interaction with Public Organizations at the Ministry, and Ilgizar Rakhimov, Professor, Head of the Department of Bioecology, Hygiene and Public Health at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at Kazan Federal University, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council at the Ministry, addressed the participants of the meeting.
Olga Artemyeva spoke about the contests and promotions held by the Ministry of Ecology and stressed the importance of actively involving children in environmental protection activities.
"The sanitary and ecological bi-monthly and the republican contest "Eco-spring" will start soon in the republic. The new format of the competition was successful last year, and we hope for the same active participation this year. Thanks to teachers and educators, it is possible to attract the maximum number of students and pupils to environmental protection," said Olga Artemyeva.
