In 2024, seven projects reached the final of the competition, the authors and teams of which received grants for the implementation of their environmental programs in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". Azat Khamaev, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agroindustrial and Food Policy, Azat Ziganshin, Deputy of the State Council, Head of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society, and Egor Tarnavsky, Deputy Minister of Ecology, met with the young ecologists.
The Republican contest of socially significant projects "About ecology to each other" is held with the support of Azat Ziganshin. In total, as the head of the Tatarstan branch of REO noted, over 300 applications have been sent during the three years of the project. This year, seven winners received grants from the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society totaling 300 thousand rubles to implement their environmental ideas. "It should be noted that this project is a socially significant event, which is attended by both schoolchildren and students of secondary specialized institutions, technical schools, colleges and higher educational institutions," said Azat Ziganshin. – And today we have invited our laureates, the winners, who not only theoretically prepared their projects, but also bring them to life. This is our asset, young guys who find time and "burn" with the idea of ecology, love their nature, respectively, love their country, their Homeland and are patriots of their country."
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky also addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. "The projects that you have already implemented have become a new vector in the ecological culture of our republic," Egor Tarnavsky emphasized, addressing the guys, "I am sure that the ecological sprout that you have laid now will give good results, and we from the Ministry of Ecology will always support you."
The winning authors of the projects, in turn, talked about the implementation of the projects. The students held 67 environmental events, various workshops, games, planting classes, as well as campaigns to clean and beautify natural spaces.
The event ended with a solemn awarding ceremony.
