The violator will pay more than 300 thousand rubles for illegal clay mining

3 February 2025, Monday

After the environmentalists' statement of claim The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan ordered Automobile Roads Enterprise LLC to compensate for the damage caused by the use of mineral resources without a license.

At the end of 2023, during the monitoring of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. Illegal extraction of opium was detected on the territory of the Komsomolsk region.

The total volume of clay seized was 742 cubic meters, or 1,350 tons.

The inspectors calculated the damage caused as a result of mining in the amount of 348 thousand rubles.

A warning was issued to the legal entity about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.

The violator refused to voluntarily compensate for the damage, and therefore the Ministry appealed to the court with a statement of claim. The arbitration court satisfied the environmentalists' demands.
