In the period from January 1 to January 31, 2025, a network of 17 automatic air pollution control stations The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out more than 323 thousand measurements. Five stations in Kazan performed over 100,000 measurements.
In general, the air quality in the republic remained within acceptable standards. However, AAPCS-2 ( Kazan, Pavlyukhin St., 75) recorded one excess of the maximum permissible concentration of carbon monoxide on January 22 at 18:20. The maximum frequency of excess was 1.34 MPCm.p. The reason for the excess, presumably, was the operation of motor vehicle engines.
