Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the Crystal Compass Award

Applications for participation in the National Award "Crystal Compass" under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society are being accepted until February 10. Tell everyone about your project in the field of geography, ecology, conservation and promotion of natural, historical and cultural heritage.

Domestic and foreign public organizations, scientific and educational institutions, creative unions, enterprises of various fields, as well as independent initiative groups and public figures can participate.

The Ministry of Ecology's project to revive the Volga-Kama Saker Falcon population was highly appreciated by the expert council of the Crystal Compass Award. In 2024, the project became one of the three winners in the nomination "The best social and information project for the preservation of natural, historical and cultural heritage."

For reference: This year's Crystal Compass Award is being held for the 13th time in support of the national Environmental Well-Being project. During the award period, 4,322 projects from 48 countries and all regions of Russia were received. More than 2.7 million people participated in the special Public Recognition nomination, where the winner is determined by online voting.
