We said goodbye to Boris Germanovich Petrov in Kazan today
A funeral farewell ceremony for the former Minister of Ecology, former head of the Volga Region Department of Rostechnadzor was held at the G. Kariev Theater. Relatives, friends, colleagues and close people came to say goodbye to Boris Germanovich.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov expressed his condolences to the families and friends:
"Today we are seeing off an outstanding man, Boris Germanovich. He was a true reformer, an innovator, always ready to share his experience and professionalism with colleagues and employees. Boris Germanovich has created a whole team of professional personnel who today work not only in the Ministry of Ecology, but also in the petrochemical industry. This is a man who has always been faithful to his profession, his vocation.…Boris Germanovich headed our Ministry of Ecology for 4 years. Our veterans and employees who had the opportunity to work with him, all remember with warmth the man who was open-hearted and open-minded.…Eternal memory."
Boris Germanovich Petrov died on January 27 at the age of 68. He is buried in the Arsky cemetery.
