169 thousand rubles were paid by the owner of the land plot, who set up a landfill next to the Bagryazhka River
The Zainsky City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan ruled to satisfy the claim of the Ministry of Ecology against the owner of the land plot, who allowed waste to be dumped in the Bagryazhka River water protection zone in the Zainsky district and violated the requirements of Articles 34, 51 of the Federal Law “On Environmental Protection”, Article 42 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation and Article 65 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation. The area of soil contamination by waste was 154 square meters. The calculation of the damage caused to soils as a result of unauthorized storage of production and consumption waste amounted to 169,507.80 rubles. The damage was not reimbursed on a voluntary basis. The Ministry sent a lawsuit to the court. The Zainsky City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the claim, and the damage was fully compensated.
