170.5 thousand Tatarstan citizens took part in the Eco-dictation in support of the national project "Ecology"
The results of the All-Russian environmental dictation have been summarized. The eco-dictation was held in the period from November 25 to December 8, 2024 in an online format on the экодиктант.рус internet portal and on offline sites. This year, 6.7 million people from all regions of Russia took part in the All-Russian Eco-dictation. The dictation brought together people of completely different ages, interests, and professions: schoolchildren, government officials, students, academics, and businessmen. Dictation questions covered 12 key sections of ecology. The main focus was on topics such as the Red Book, Protected Areas, and Eco-tourism.
170,420 people from the Republic of Tatarstan took part, which is 60,000 more than a year earlier. 355 offline playgrounds were organized in schools of the Republic. The largest groups of participants were both adults non-environmentalists and "teenagers". According to the 5 categories of the Eco–Dictation, the participants were distributed as follows: children under 12 years old – 12440 participants; teenagers 12-17 years old – 114180; adults 18+ (non–environmentalists) – 26800; adults 18+ (environmentalists) - 4320; "Writing together!" - 12680 participants.
The winners, who took the first place, were 6235 residents of the region, 12035 people took the second place, and 8540 people took the third place.
The Eco-dictation in Tatarstan was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
