Ecologicalspecialistsacknowledged thatlandsintended for large familiesare unfit for use

TheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesof the Republic of Tatarstan conducted work on inspection and coordination of land plots intended for large families. SinceMarch 1, 2012, 18,311 landplotshavebeeninspectedontheterritoryof 43 municipal districtsof the Republic of Tatarstan, selection of 5,525 land plots has been coordinated, 11,184 samples have been taken:10,211 air samples, 489 snow cover samples, and 484 soil samples.
Followingtheresultsofanalyticalcontrol,maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants have been exceeded on 24 land plots. Duringthesecondinspection, excessive maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants (oil products)were confirmedin soil on the land plot located on the territory of Almetyevsk, SU-2 district, South-Eastern building estate.
For this cause, by the order of the Executive Committee of Almetyevsk Municipal district it was decided to suspend allocation of land plotsto large families on the given territory.
FollowingtheresultsofecologicalsurveillanceconductedbyfellowworkersoftheSouth-EasternTerritorialDepartmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, documents related to soil pollution were transferred to Almetyevsk Municipal Prosecutor’s Officeand Tatar Nature Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office for the prosecution response measures to be taken.
AlmetyevskMunicipalCourtsustained stated claims of Almetyevsk Municipal Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan to“North-Westernmain oil pipelines”OAO on reclamation of oil contaminated soils on the land plot by August 31, 2015.
Acontractforthelandplotreclamationisconcludedbetween“AC “Transneft”OAO,“North-Westernmain oil pipelines” OAO, and“ARSU” LLCto the amount of 261 million 899 thousand rubles.
Complexworkonreclamationincludingsoildisinfection, extraction ofreinforced concrete tanks, biological purification usingmicrobial strains has been conducted sinceJune 27, 2013.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
