The court supported the environmentalists' position. Violator will pay more than 8 million rubles for damage caused to nature
The arbitration court ordered the Chistye Vody limited liability company to pay 8 million 53 thousand rubles for damage caused to the Kamenka River in the Vysokogorsky district.
Let us recall that in the summer of 2023, the Ministry received appeals regarding the discharge of wastewater into the Kamenka River in the Vysokogorsky district of the republic near the Malinovy ovrag farm. The inspectors of the Central Administration conducted a visit and took samples of natural and waste water. According to the research results, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of ammonium ions and phenol were revealed.
The Ministry filed a claim with the Arbitration Court for damages. The environmentalists' claim was satisfied. However, Chistye Vody LLC appealed to the Eleventh Arbitration Court of Appeal. The court did not support the complaint and agreed with the position of the Ministry of Ecology. The amount will be collected from violators in a compulsory manner.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Ecology has repeatedly sued the court for damages against Chistye Vody LLC on the facts of wastewater discharge.
