Tournament of young biologists was held in Tatarstan

Conclusive competitions in the framework of the Republican stage of the tournament of young biologists were held at the children’s recreation camp “Koster” of Vysokaya Gora district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The tournament of young biologists is a new competition for pupils fond of biology. Teamwork distinguishes it from the Olympiad.
The event involved 18 teams that represented Kazan and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Young biologists demonstrated their knowledge in the course of scientific discussions.
Following the results of competitions, the team of “Ditsentr” consisting of teams from schools No.18, 103 and 83 of Kazan, and the team “Erudit” of school No. 7 of Almetyevsk were rated the first. In the individual event, the following young biologists were the best — Iskander Sabirov and Andrey Vladimirov. The winners were awarded with memorable souvenirs from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
