Russia is interested in the experience of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on implementation of “green” technologies into industry

Russia is interested in investigation of UNIDO projects on implementation of “green” technologies into industry. It was announced by Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Rinat Gizatulin during the meeting with Director General of UNIDO Li Yong. He approached the public with the initiative to create the center of innovation and “green” technologies in Russia on the basis of UNIDO potential, as well as to promote environment-oriented projects into industry, small and medium businesses in order to further enhance the ecological situation in the country.
Li Yong noted that UNIDO and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation together implemented about 30 projects: “Successful work on the projects instills confidence in further fruitful cooperation, including promotion of the concept of ‘clean’ and innovation production”. Having supported the idea of creation of the center of innovation and “green” technologies, Li Yong promised to consider the possibility to use the potential of the Center of International Industrial Cooperation of UNIDO.

Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
