A festive concert dedicated to the International Day of the Disabled was held in the Nurlat district today. The Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov and the head of the Nurlat district Damir Ishkineev took part in the events dedicated to the decade of the disabled.
"In the Nurlat district, people sincerely, family-like, with warmth and tenderness treat the needs of every resident who directly needs advice and help. Strong-minded people have gathered here today. No matter what, you do so many good and kind things, you are an example for our generation, thank you," the Minister of Ecology addressed the guests of the holiday with warm words of congratulations. To date, 423 people with disabilities of group I, 2326 of group II, 2192 of group III, 225 disabled children and children with disabilities, one disabled person of the Great Patriotic War and two war veterans who became disabled, 7 disabled participants in a special military operation live in the Nurlat district. As the head of the district noted, helping people with disabilities has always been and remains the most important task.
Today, people with disabilities were presented with gifts and letters of thanks for their active participation in the public life of the Nurlat district. Alexander Shadrikov and Damir Ishkineev also presented gifts to the soldiers of the special military operation.
