Ecologists of the Kama Territorial Administration help high school students decide on their future profession. As part of the "Environmental Education and Upbringing" program, an excursion was organized in the Department of Environmental Supervision.
Students of grades 8-9, school No. 19 of Naberezhnye Chelny were introduced to the specifics of working in the laboratory, showed experiments, and told about a mobile environmental air control station.
The management specialists explained to the guys that their area of responsibility includes not only Naberezhnye Chelny, but 7 more municipal districts. Environmental indicators are constantly monitored on their territory, as well as emergency response in case of violations.
At the end of the lesson, the results were summarized on the importance of forming a clear civic position in the field of environmental protection. "The shortest and most reliable way to success and well–being is high-quality education and persistent self-education. That's the only thing that gives us the necessary knowledge to make the right decisions in any life situation," the management specialists stressed.
Environmentalists hope that the practical lesson will help students to consciously approach the choice of profession and increase interest in environmental specialties.
