An audit of water intakes is being completed in Tatarstan. The Republic is a pilot and the very first region where such a program is being implemented

Thanks to the support of the Head of Tatarstan, since 2021, the Ministry of Ecology and GBU Geocenter has been creating a digital and roadmap, where all water intakes and wells will be taken into account. Such a unified register has only just begun to be created in Russia.

In total, 3 out of 43 municipal districts of Tatarstan remained to be examined: Almetyevsky, Alkeevsky and Spassky.
