Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Leninogorsk city Prosecutor's Office, examined the sites near the village of Vozdvizhenka. The information that access to ponds located on these lands is limited has been confirmed.
A gazebo has been erected by the owner within the coastline, and piers have been installed in the water area. All this, according to environmentalists, restricts citizens' right to unhindered access to water bodies.
In addition, during the joint inspection, it was established that the land was transferred to the possession of an individual in violation of the law – these water bodies cannot be privately owned.
The revealed facts became the basis for the Prosecutor's Office's appeal to the court, which decided to return three land plots with an area of 35 thousand square meters to state ownership and oblige the former owner to dismantle the fences.
