The Head of Tatarstan instructed to ensure the active participation of Tatarstan in new national projects

The authorities at all levels need to ensure the most active participation of Tatarstan in the new 19 national projects announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, made such an instruction in his address to the State Council of the Republic.

"The President of the country has adopted a decree on the national development goals of the Russian Federation until 2030. New national projects have been formed that affect all key areas, including improving the efficiency of the economy and providing it with personnel, digital transformation and achieving technological leadership, creating a comfortable, safe infrastructure for life and an efficient transport system, caring for the environment and ecology, improving well-being and strengthening people's health, implementing youth policy, and Family support, protection of motherhood and childhood are also provided. The task of authorities at all levels is to ensure the active participation of the republic in national projects and their strict implementation," said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Let us recall that the national project "Ecology" is coming to an end in 2024. By decision of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin will be replaced by a new national project – "Environmental Well–being" - with a deadline of 2025-2030. The new national project will include 6 federal projects:

1. The Federal project "Water of Russia". The project will combine the directions of the federal projects "Improvement of the Volga River" and "Preservation of unique water bodies".

The inclusion of two events of the Republic of Tatarstan has been previously agreed upon in the federal project "Water of Russia":

– "Clearing the Melekeski riverbed in Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan" the cost of 320.7 million rubles for 2025-2026 (2025 – 168.9 million rubles, 2026 – 151.7 million rubles);

– "Measures to clear the riverbed of the Noks River with tributaries in Kazan" the cost of 718.9 million rubles for 2028-2030 (2028 – 210.0 million rubles, 2029 – 250.0 million rubles, 2030 – 258.9 million rubles).

As part of the preparation of the project, lists of activities proposed for inclusion in the new project have also been formed and sent from the Republic of Tatarstan:

– for the construction (reconstruction) of sewage treatment plants and storm sewers The Republic of Tatarstan has 17 facilities worth 18.3 billion rubles.

– environmental improvement of water bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan (29 events) for 4.4 billion rubles.

2. The federal project "General cleaning". The project will replace the federal Clean Country project.

Within the framework of the federal project, at least 50 hazardous objects of accumulated environmental damage are expected to be eliminated on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Previously, for the planned period up to 2030, within the framework of the federal project "General Cleaning", it is planned to reclaim the landfill in the city of Nurlat of the Republic of Tatarstan with an area of 21.9 hectares.

3. The Federal project "Closed-loop Economy". The project will replace the federal project "Integrated Solid Municipal Waste Management System".

4. The Federal Clean Air Project.

Project objective: to improve the quality of life of the population in the participating cities (29 cities) of the project by reducing emissions of dangerous pollutants into the atmospheric air

5. The Federal project "Forest Conservation".

The aim of the project is to preserve and multiply the country's forests in order to create comfortable and safe living conditions, as well as maintain and develop the economic potential of the forest complex.

6. The Federal project "Conservation of biological diversity and development of ecological tourism".

The aim of the project is to preserve biological diversity, sustainable development of specially protected natural areas and create conditions for eco-tourism in all national parks.
